As promised, I'm going to give you a sneak peek of our recently concluded event, The Poppies Precious Little Ones Fair 2009 (PPLO). I know it's a bit late entry (sorry!). We were actually quite busy these few days (at work, home, and stuff.. you know). Nonetheless, here are some of the pictures we managed to sort out :-)
As you can see, here's our humble lil booth (near Sushi King). There were supposedly 2 people attending the booth but here..they've gone MIA.. The fair took up the whole space at the ground floor of tHe Spring and there were lots of big giant companies took part besides us (Abbott, Avent, Crocs..just to name a few). It was such a fun and amazing event as mommies and daddies were able to sample wonderful products and enjoy great discounts offered during the fair.
There were lots of interactive games (not to mention great prizes awaiting all winners), free coupons, free talks by professional health expert and so much more! I was among the first few who were lucky enough to own their goody bag worth of RM300 at their first day of opening. Free magazines were also distributed during the event, as well as free cotton candy, free photo shoot by professional photographer and whole lot more! Aren't we just LOVE free stuff?
Me, in the midst of attending to the booth while blogging / checking emails and stuff. My cute Leni (a.k.a my precious lilac Lenovo netbook) has never left my side ever since I got her few months back (a true blogger at heart).
Trick of the trade. If you can't finish the deco at home, bring it to your stall and make a cupcake demo out of it! A sure crowd puller :-)
Some of the cupcakes we had for sale. CC4 (cupcakes set). Mix of vanilla and choc flavour cupcakes with buttercream icing.
I bought this cupcake stand about a year ago but she only made her humble preview during the fair. Poor thing..
Our classic butter cookies with royal icing deco.
Premium cupcakes - cream cheese and choc ganache frosting. Super jumbo 4oz size!
YB Datin Hajah Fatimah Abdullah and Datin Judy Ling had kindly graced the launching ceremony. Here they were taking a stroll to look at our booth. We gave YB Datin Hajah Fatimah a set of our cupcakes (but forgot to give extra to Datin Judy! Yikes!)..
With Olivia Ling, the director and owner of the Poppies. We known each other since last year when I was given the opportunity to bake cupcakes for her daughters' bday, Zara and Jasmine. I have the utmost admiration for her friendly and loving personality and she is the creative mind behind all the extravagant event and activities that Poppies has ever held.
Even at the time this photo was taken (at 10.30pm after tHe Spring closed), she made an effort to say goodbye to everyone and thanking all tenants / stall owners of the fair. I think she might have stayed back till midnite at tHe Spring, with her staff cleaning up and dismantling their booth. She asked how my sales went so far and thanked me for joining them where instead I should be the one thanking her for inviting us! hehe.. Nways, thanks Poppies!
orait hommies! That's the end of our part 1 of the PPLO fair. Promise will continue again with the part II of the event and more fun stories / activity to share with you later. For now, I need to take a shower and ready to go for my office dinner. Till then...
